Ow i Hope they get another one for when i hope to return this easter!
Was some lovely views from there and i always wanted to go up at sunset…i can imagine it was very popular with the cruise ship tourists aswell seeing as they dont normally have much time to spend on the island.

Lol, perhaps we should all start lookin for the balloon, we r now nearly in november and no sign of it yet, typical of Madeira…..

@Ernest: A new balloon is on its way to Funchal. I only hope that this time they display a what more colorful balloon …. for example large pictures of an orchid or sunflower … instead of an advertisement ad.

I enjoyed my ride in this balloon last December. Will this balloon be replaced in the futher? It will be a shame if this balloon landmark is gone forever.
